They took our jobs Overseas And gave them to The Vietnamese

Because Mr. Nguyen And Mrs. Phu Will work for less Than me and you

But the people Became very mad Wondering if We’d been had

No, no they said The jobs are safe There must have been Some big mistake

The problem is Those blacks and browns The jobs disappeared When they came to town

So we said no more And we said go home But it doesn’t matter The jobs are still gone

The greedy men with Their excuses and fear Have strung us along For over 40 years

But while we fall for These silly lies A few at the top Eat the whole pie
