Through our veins and into our hearts The force of life flows strong
Neither for gender nor sex nor color of skin Does it withhold the power granted to us
Fuel for passion and goodness Our collective grace surges
Yet away we turn from truth Scared of what it means to be better
Preferring instead To spill and shed What makes us human The color red
