What’s extreme
About dreaming
Of wishes unknown
And hopes upon stars
From afar they are
So gleaming
What is a soul
Except to seek of needs
For which no words exist
A great desire
To learn and know
In memory to persist
Nor dream nor thought nor prayer
However mere or fleeting
All worth a wish upon a star
For from far
They whisper silent
And we respond, reaching
